Castle Combe Circuit

Castle Combe offers a huge challenge to any driver. It is very fast and yet is technically challenging with every corner needing a thoughtful approach to find the right line.
Set in stunning Wiltshire countryside, next door to the picturesque Castle Combe village it has a unique charm and all serious drivers should visit this legendary circuit. The breakfast in the circuit's Tavern is worth the journey alone!
These days are overseen by our very own Ed Moore who has unrivaled knowledge of Castle Combe and has won over 30 races outright at this track. Who better to ask advice for negotiating the tricky approach into Quarry corner or for understanding how to maximise your exit speed out of Camp corner?
We encourage you to build up your pace very gently and to always respect this track and to seek advice from our instructors.
The noise testing rules at Castle Combe are 100 dB(A) at 0.5 metres and at 4500 rpm, for motorcycle engines cars we require this to be at 3/4 of maximum rpm. This rule will be enforced rigidly, so if you have any doubts consider adding extra silencing.
Our events are for like minded enthusiast drivers in 'road type' cars. Please note that we do not allow any out and out, dedicated race or competition cars to participate, our events are track days and not test days for race cars. There are of course cross over cars (Road Saloons, some Rally Cars and of course many Kit type such as Caterhams and Westfields) which attend our events and whilst they may not be used on the road they could be; these cars are very welcome as long as they are well prepared and safe. What we don't allow are GT race cars, single seaters, sports racing cars (such as Radicals unless road legal) etc. If you have any doubts about the suitability of your car please ask in advance. If you plan on using slick tyres please ask beforehand and your driving will be carefully monitored.
There is a petrol station just outside the circuit entrance and there are plenty of local Hotels and B&B's.
Castle Combe circuit is within easy reach of J17 of the M4 near Chippenham in Wiltshire and there are sign posts from the motorway all the way to the track.
