Goodwood

BOOKING HOTLINE 0844 873 6075

Glorious Goodwood is an absolute gem and a venue that every driving enthusiast has to experience. It is a very fast challenging, historic track with every straight and corner full of character and oozing heritage.

Set in stunning the beautiful West Sussex Countryside near to Chichester and almost directly adjacent to the racecourse, Goodwood is a truly historic track and whilst famous now for the annual Revival Race Meeting it hosted huge international races until 1966. Since it was restored in 1998 it has grown in popularity and has a wonderfully flowing layout, interrupted just once a lap with the chicane leading onto the start finish straight.

We encourage you to build up your pace very gently and to always respect this track and to seek advice from our instructors as the run offs are quite short and there are hardly any gravel traps. Just concentrate on getting the technique right before trying to drive too fast, too soon.

The noise testing rules at Goodwood are 98 dB(A) at 0.5 metres and at ¾ of maximum rpm and also a 96 dB(A) drive by limit. This rule will be enforced rigidly, so if you have any doubts consider adding extra silencing. Please also note that due to a number of reasons competition cars can not be allowed at these events and that if you plan on using slick tyres please ask beforehand and your driving will be carefully monitored.

There are petrol stations within 1.5 miles of the circuit entrance and there are plenty of local Hotels and B&B's.

Goodwood motor circuit is within easy reach of M27 and within easy reach of the London region. It is well sign posted in the local area.
